Empowering you to find peace on your plate
A Non-Diet Approach to Nutrition Counseling
Shine’s anti-diet approach will help you practice gentle nutrition; by encouraging clients to make food choices from a place of self-care instead of self-control. We take into consideration eating patterns, health conditions, GI function, sleep quality, diet history, and more.
I believe your relationship with food is one of the most important aspects of physical and mental health. With expertise in both nutrition science and eating behavior, I will help you learn how to eat again and feel your best.
MS, RD, CEDS
"Nutrition therapy is a place for curiosity, vulnerability, and courage. Our relationship with food affects all aspects of our lives. Finding peace and confidence in this relationship is life-changing. At the end of our work together, I want you to feel empowered to trust your body and find nourishing yourself effortlessly."
Our Clients Inspire Us
"Carrie’s approach to my treatment was like none other, as she tailored each session to what was most beneficial for me. Sessions ranged from her teaching about the science of nutrition to her listening and reminding me that if I trust my body and the work, that I would get better. Thanks to her, I am better, and still utilize the tools she has taught me every day.” – Blake
