Empowering you to find peace on your plate
A Non-Diet Approach to Nutrition Counseling
Shine’s anti-diet approach will help you practice gentle nutrition; by encouraging clients to make food choices from a place of self-care instead of self-control. We take into consideration eating patterns, health conditions, GI function, sleep quality, diet history, and more.
I believe your relationship with food is one of the most important aspects of physical and mental health. With expertise in both nutrition science and eating behavior, I will help you learn how to eat again and feel your best.

"Nutrition therapy is a place for curiosity, vulnerability, and courage. Our relationship with food affects all aspects of our lives. Finding peace and confidence in this relationship is life-changing. At the end of our work together, I want you to feel empowered to trust your body and find nourishing yourself effortlessly."
What to Expect
In our first session together, we will explore your health concerns and reasons for pursuing nutritional counseling.
Topics discussed will include nutritional, behavioral, and medical history as well as your dietary intake, food beliefs, and past experiences with nutrition providers. After we have a plan in place, we will transition to 30-minute follow-up sessions. Nutrition education and plan modifications will be provided along the way.
